Overview

We partnered with a leading ABS brake system manufacturer to develop an improved retention solution for ABS sensor lines. The existing method—standard cable ties—was creating reliability and safety concerns due to over-tightening and installation inefficiencies.

As brake hoses flex during normal operation, tightly secured sensor lines were at risk of abrasion and internal wire damage. Additionally, the installation process introduced secondary hazards, including sharp trimmed ends and excess material debris on the production floor. To address these issues, we engineered a purpose-built clip that securely retains the ABS sensor line while allowing controlled movement.

The design improves durability, enhances safety, and significantly streamlines installation.
